What’s Included in Our Tree Cutting, Felling & Removal Services?
Sectional Dismantling for Restricted Sites
When space is tight or trees are near buildings, we dismantle them in sections using ropes, rigging and aerial access. This minimises ground disturbance and allows full control throughout the operation. Ideal for school grounds, car parks, and built-up urban sites.
Tree Felling for Open Site Clearance
On larger or open sites, we carry out direct tree felling using directional cuts, wedges and mechanical support. This approach is often quicker and more cost-effective – particularly for pre-construction clearance or open rural plots. For full land prep, see our site clearance services.
Complete Tree Removal & Waste Management
Once felled, we remove all debris from site or chip materials on-site for sustainable reuse as mulch or biomass. We follow best practice for waste handling, supported by our environmental policy, and offer optional stump grinding and scrub clearance services as part of a full vegetation removal package.
Our Process: How We Work
very site is different, so we tailor our service to suit your needs. Here’s what to expect when you work with Treetops. For more on how we approach tree removal safely, read our contractor code of conduct.
Site Visit & Consultation
We start by assessing your site, understanding your goals, checking for TPOs (Tree Preservation Orders) or conservation area restrictions, and identifying any access or safety considerations.
Detailed Quotation
You’ll receive a clear, itemised quote – including tree removal, waste disposal, stump grinding if required, and any associated traffic or access management.
Planning & Scheduling
We’ll coordinate with your project manager, contractor or FM provider to carry out the works at a time that fits your programme and site constraints.
Tree Works & Clean-Up
Our team arrives with the right kit and follows a clear method statement and risk assessment. Once the job’s complete, we remove all arisings and tidy the site – unless you’d prefer to retain chips or mulch.
Final Checks & Support
We conduct a final walk-through and can provide tree condition reports, photographic evidence or follow-up advice as needed.
